A warming shelter is available at Wheeler Park from 4:00 – 7:00 pm Monday-Friday, and 11:00 am – 4:00 pm Saturdays, Sundays and/or school holidays when ice is skateable.

There is no warming shelter at Mill Creek Pool Parking Lot.

NOTE: skating is no longer available at Jaycee or Sunset Park.

Did You Know?
Creating the ice is an interesting process. In order for the appropriate amount of ice to be prepared, the temperature has to remain at 20 degrees or below for at least 48 hours.

Once we have reached those ideal conditions, the process of forming ice will begin and enjoyment of skating follows. Thanks for your patience.
