Fox Valley Folk Music Festival Logo 2023About: For nearly 50 years, the Fox Valley Folklore Society has been bringing local, national, and international talent to the Western Suburbs, and this year’s festival promises the same! Bask in the glory of the last summer holiday weekend listening to live music with 15 featured performers and other musical artists. Six stages run continuously, with choices of mini-concerts, storytelling, and topical & hands-on workshops, as well as a Kids Zone with music and craft activities that is co-sponsored with American Science and Surplus. Stroll through a Fine Arts area and updated Children’s Tent, or bring your instrument to play along. Twirl at the old-fashioned Barn Dance, then thrill to some spine-tingling tales as the crickets and train whistles blow through the dark. Join us on Labor Day Sunday and Monday for a weekend full of fun for the whole family!

Parking is available around the city and there is easy access via the North end of the island off Water St. and the South end of the island via the pedestrian bridge.
