Earth Day Celebration

The Natural Resources Committee of Geneva and the Geneva Park District invite you to bring the entire family out to Peck Farm Park to celebrate Earth Day!

  • Ribbon cutting – Peck North at 10:00am
  • Tree planting – register using code 2611306
    • 11:00am (immediately following ribbon cutting)
  • Earth Day Celebration and Family Bike Tour – register using code 2611920 
    • 11:00am-2:00pm
      • Bike the new trail!
      • Activities for kids of all ages!

Do you have a mattress you no longer need, unwanted clothes, a used bike, or an old TV? Bring it to Peck Farm Park on April 24 to recycle with one of several different partners/sponsors of the event. See below for a more detailed list of items that can be donated:
  • Junkluggers
    • Mattresses
    • All e-waste (small appliances, electronics, flat screen computer monitors)
    • TVs (limited to first 20)
    • No refrigerators or appliances with freon
  • Kane County Recycle Program
    • Shoes, clothes, sheets, drapes
  • Working Bikes
    • Unwanted bicycles
Note: You do not have to register for the event to recycle any of the items listed.
