Skate Park Warnings & Safety Rules

  • The skate/bicycle park is unsupervised and participants skate/ bike at their own risk.
  • Proper protective equipment such as helmets, elbow pads, knee  pads, etc. are required to be used during skating and cycling activities.
  • No personally owned ramps, boxes or other devices may be brought into the facility.
  • No motorized equipment may be brought into the facility.
  • Please be courteous of other park users and please keep your skate park clean.
  • Bringing glass into the area is prohibited.
  • In the event rules are not being followed, the Geneva Park District may choose, at its  own discretion, to temporarily or permanently close this facility.

Park Notice:

Island Park / Fox River Trail CLOSED

Due to the high amount of rain, there is flooding in Island Park and along the Fox River Trail.  Therefore, for public safety, Island Park and the Fox River Trail will be CLOSED until further notice.

Tennis Court Renovation – Marjorie Murray Park

Renovation of the tennis courts at the Geneva High School next to Marjorie Murray Park has begun. Courts will remain closed through late August (weather permitting). During this time, we encourage users to utilize courts at Lions Park, Mill Creek Community Park, Sterling Manor Park, Wheeler Park or Harrison St. School.
