Jenifer started dancing at the age of three, and has continued studying ballet, contemporary, jazz, and hip hop throughout her life. Jenifer was a member of the Batavia High School Dance Team, learned flamenco dancing while studying abroad in Spain, and earned a dance and performing arts endorsement at Northern Illinois University while earning an elementary education degree with a minor in Spanish.

She has been an instructor at the Geneva Park District since 2014 and teaches Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Tumbling, Cheer and Poms, and the Angels competitive team. For Jenifer, dance is a way to escape. She loves the way that dancing makes her feel, and how it allows her to take a break from life and just live in the moment. Jenifer is currently a second grade teacher in Batavia. Besides teaching and dancing, she loves to travel to new places, meet the people, try their food, and learn their dances and how they celebrate their culture.
